* I got Ryan a Fruit Arrangement. Sounds lame to everything he did for me... but lucky I have our anniversary and his birthday to make up for it.

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary we spent the weekend in Salt Lake City at the Hilton. Our weekend consisted of sleeping in, eating at the Melting Pot, swimming, and just relaxing. It was a much needed mini vacation. So happy for the best year of my life and grateful I can share it with my sweet spouse... ryan!

During our anniversary week we celebrated by eating our one year wedding cake. Lucky my mom stored it a tight container and it was surprisingly delicious. Tasted just like it did on our wedding day:)

Ryans's 24th Birthday!
In our house we have the tradition to have a birthday week. One day is just not long enough to celebrate the joy of being alive! Ryan's week consisted of home cooked meals every night, mini gifts each day, and getting pampered by a mini massage at night before he went to bed or having me grab something for him while he relaxed. For Ryan's birthday he received money from family. I gave him oil for his truck.  We had a wonderful dinner at Ryan's mom's house on his birthday. Overall Ryan had a wonderful birthday and we are so lucky to have friends and family to share it with.

Ryan's making birthday wishes. For his birthday cake he wanted me to make him a fruit pizza which is always delicious!  Happy birthday Ryan... I hope you had a wonderful day.

December

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I love the season of Christmas and the spirit it brings. Since it was our first year of celebrating Christmas together I wanted to start it off right and maybe with a few new traditions.
* I did the 12 days of Christmas for Ryan. Not only did he love it but I enjoyed giving him a surprise everyday. Some of the items he received were slippers, movie, CD, Pez, Dr. Pepper, chapstick, and socks.
* Along with the Christmas Eve Pajamas I wanted to start putting in a  Christmas movie to watch on Christmas Eve. This year the movie I put in with Ryan's PJ's was A Christmas Story.
*We went up Monroe and cut down our first Christmas Tree. I hope every year to always have a real Christmas tree.
*We were able to go to Temple Square with my family this year. I love looking at Christmas lights, even if its driving around in the car. We also drove to the festival of lights in Spanish Fork.
* We also sent out Christmas cards to all of our close friends & family. I always want to keep this tradition going.

While getting our Christmas tree Patsy seemed to love the snow at first but within less than 20 feet she realized her paws became frozen haha I love this picture of her. It shows exactly how miserable she really was.

Our tree all decorated. Miss Patsy loved her new drinking bowel of fresh pine tree water.

Our good friend Chevia Nelson gave these cute PJ's to Patsy. On the her little bum they say Santa's Helper. I may be pathetic dressing her up but come one look at her cute little face. If it makes me laugh or smile I think It's worth dressing the cute little dog.

The year of hats. Gifts from Grandma Joy and Grandpa Nolan . Don't they all look like studs.

What we got for Christmas:
Ryan received clothes, work boots, money, a gun from our families. I bought him a clear bra for his truck. I have been saving my tip money from work for a couple of months so I was very excited to give him his gift. A while back he told me he did not want any electronics. So I thought I would be very clever and put his gift certificate for his clear bra in a iphone 4 case. Needless to say he was much more excited about getting his clear bra on his truck than he was for the pretend iphone. We also got sonicare toothbrushes.

I received lots of clothes from family and cooking appliances. Ryan spoiled me by finally getting us a king size mattress. He also got me a Ninja blender. I am so excited to start making healthy smoothies.

We had a wonderful Christmas. We were able to celebrate it with family & friends. Christmas of 2013 was filled with laughter, snow, lights, carols, presents, love, and celebrating our Saviors birth. Thank you to everyone who made this a wonderful season.

November: The season to be thankful!

Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven.-President Thomas S. Monson

I love having a season that let's us count our many blessings. Ryan & I have so much to be thankful for! We started a new tradition and wrote on a tree what we were thankful for. I want & hope to keep this tradition going each year.

We both wrote 10 things we are thankful for:)
Ryan
1. I'm thankful for having a good job.
2. I'm thankful for a happy wife.
3. Pasty, I guess I'm thankful for!
4. I'm thankful for school.
5. I'm thankful for family.
6. I'm thankful for church.
7. I'm thankful for a working wife.
8. I'm thankful for Christmas.
9. I'm thankful for my sexy wife.
10. I'm thankful to have nice things.

Bree'L

2. I'm thankful for a healthy mind, body, & spirit.

8. I'm thankful for coke, chocolate, and cheetos!
9. I'm thankful for technology.
10. I'm thankful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Also this month we had a fun double date with our friends Dustin & Matasha Johnson. They were able to find jazz tickets on the floor level: row 8 for a really good deal! We had a blast! It's always a good time getting with them. We went to the Cheesecake Factory and then to the game. The Jazz played the Bulls and lucky won by 3 points going into overtime.

Thanksgiving Day 2013

This year for thanksgiving we were on my side of the family. We went to my grandpa and grandma Bosshardts house. As usual we ate to much to the point I felt like I couldn't move or breathe haha! It's the one day out of the year you have a good excuse to eat as much as you can. After stuffing our faces we sat around that talked and that night we went to Catching Fire (Hunger Games).  I always enjoy getting with family and are so blessed to have family that lives close to us.

Closing this blog post I have to leave you with the wonderful stove that Ryan has perfected this month. Needless to say I'm very lucky to have such a handy man if the Apocalypse comes.  This stove makes the hottest and a perfect cup of hot coco! We haven't adventured out to cooking anything else on it but I'm interested in seeing how it does. It may look small but it heat up like a CHAMP!

I wish the season to be thankful went on a little longer and Christmas didn't start until December. We all have so many blessing that we often forget each and every day. I hope that during the new coming year we can all  keep gratitude into our hearts. It's not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy:)

Happy October 2013

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! I love watching the leaves change and who can argue with finally the season of boots and scarfs. Ryan and I have loved taking the jeep up American Fork Canyon and watch the leaves change colors. We honestly have been up the canyon at least a couple times a week this month.

Ryan has been busy working away. He is simply the best.... not only does he work full time but he also helps clean and cooks. I'm so grateful for him and all that he does. For my birthday he spent all week cooking and cleaning so I didn't have to worry about it. Ya I know he is pretty awesome. Also Ryan started a new job this month and we are to see how everything goes for him. It was also the deer hunt, Levi and Ryan went together and both got deer the opening morning.

Not much have changed for me other than I'm 23! Wow! Seems like I was just in high school and college. I'm still working, cleaning, being a wife, and still trying to catch every moment to relax. I keep telling Ryan I need a VACA (vacation) hopefully we will go somewhere soon. I just need to get out of our own little world and simply do NOTHING!!! Can you tell I'm a little worn out?
For Halloween I did dress up as a pineapple which was simple and fun! Ryan and I did dress up as lumberjacks to go to our ward party. We didn't take picture because we didn't stay. When we got to the party we discovered we didn't know anyone and it was crowded with kids and every seat was taken. We decided to go get Panda Express and call it good haha! Halloween night we did invite our good friends Blaine and Shelby over for dinner and games which was fun. We always have a good time when we get with our friends.
Also my brother and sister in law little boy Ronnie has his 1st birthday which was fun to celebrate with them. He sure is growing up fast and can't believe how time flies!!!

Patsy sure has been fun! Within October she has lost all of her baby teeth, learned how to sit, lie, and roll over, knows to sleep in her own bed, and is my constant shadow. She cracks me up.... If she isn't walking beside me she is laying right by me. A silly things Patsy does is takes one piece of food and goes on the carpet and eats it then goes back and does the same thing until she is full. She also loves her hair in the wind; she basically jumps out of the car window lol. She also loves playing with other dogs and plays rough because she is used to how hard Ryan plays with her.

Now that November is here I have made a goal to tell Ryan everyday one thing I am thankful for of him or that he does. We really do have so many blessing to be thankful for and I’m so happy that we have one month out of the year we can focus on our many blessings!

Summer-August

Can anyone say procrastination? Yes, I know it’s been forever since I updated my blog and to be honest I have no idea where to start. So here is my best shot… I decided to list accomplishments or new things that have happened since I updated last.

-Bought a duplex and can finally say our basement remodeling is almost finished -Ryan’s work is going extremely well and I’m very proud his hard worker -Ryan got a deer tag on the Beaver Mountain -Spent the summer on the lake boating & mountains -Yes, I got a job! I’m working at The Retreat Salon in Springville -I even started my own Facebook page for my business called Skin Care by Bree’L -We had a cat (Kringle) our upstairs ran her over. Yes it was very sad. -However we updated to a Yorkie Terrier her name is Patsy. Ryan named her after the country singer Patsy Cline. Can you tell we love country music?  -We sold the Pontiac G6 and updated to a Jeep Rubicon Wrangler. We love it! -Most night include going up to American Fork Canyon. We love being up in the mountain -Ryan’s sister Cortney & her husband Hayden had two beautiful twin girls. So happy for them:)
-We started the Dexter TV Series and are very addicted -Tried to start eating healthier and didn’t go so well haha maybe we should try again? -Went to George Strait and Luke Bryan Concert! Both were awesome!-We also went with my family to the Zoo this summer. Love watching little Ronnie grow up. He sure is cute. -We are enjoying our new ward & finding new friends.

Pretty much we love married life & we can’t complain.  We are excited for what our future holds together! I really am one lucky women to have Ryan in my life.
p.s. I know some of you have been asking to see our before/after pictures of our duplex so hopefully I'll get those soon. I hate to post them if our house isn't finished. But I'll post soon:)

Easter Weekend

I have to say I love the holidays! There is nothing better than the feeling of being able to get out of the city to clean fresh air, being with family, & eating too much :) Ryan & I had lots of fun... We went down Friday night and I was able to see my good friends Dustin, Tash, and Jayia. They have been so good to us and I'm very thankful to have good friends like them. On Saturday we were able to get with Kyle, Kim, Kenna, Shaylee, and Drew was able to come a little later. We went out to Redmond Minerals and ate then shot guns. I have to say I'm very proud of Ryan. He is a good aim and was able to impress everyone. I actually impressed myself as well... I hit three clay pigeons ha-ha which is good for me. We also shot at dynamite which Ryan & I was able to hit. Recently Redmond Minerals got a canon which shoots bowling balls at a ship out on a hill. That was fun to watch because you could actually watch where the ball was going to hit.

Saturday night I was able to Laci M and her cute little family. I look up to her and all she has been through. She has also been a very good friend to me and I'm lucky to be able to be close with her. Laci & I can always have a good laugh. She sure is cute :)
Sunday morning of course brought us to church. It was a spiritual meeting about the atonement. I'm so blessed to be part of the LDS church. It has already brought so many blessings into Ryan & my life.
My grandma Velma was able to come over to Sunday dinner with us. It's always fun to chat with her. Overall our weekend was fun & busy! Thanks to everyone who helped put it together
I need to also give a special thanks to both of our parents for putting together an Easter basket for us. It's always fun getting treats & goodies... That never gets old :)
